Network management National Control Room Cooperation
Since 2018, Procyon Networks has been managing the ICT network of the National Control Room (LMS). The responsibility used to fall under the VRR *, since 2020 the responsibility falls under the National Control Room Cooperation of the Police. The control room is a central point for the police, fire brigade, ambulance, Royal Military Police of the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region.
Through years of cooperation with VRR, Procyon Networks has gained the confidence that we would solidly implement the network around the control room and that the management of this crucial network is in professional hands.
Flawless communication for crucial incident information
Procyon Networks manages redundant firewalls and switches that form the interface for all regional emergency services. This interface is crucial and has been continuously managed and monitored since its design in 2018. Since its design and construction in 2018, the network has functioned as it should, allowing the LMS to rely on flawless communication about crucial information.
We are proud each time we are allowed to carry out socially relevant assignments. It is an honour that VRR and LMS have such confidence in us.
